Process Art

We've been experimenting with different forms of process art the past two weeks, where we focus on the process of mixing colors and textures using techniques that often engage the whole body and inspire collaboration with friends. We rolled walnuts around in a shallow box filled with paint and moved them around with sticks. We printed with tubes, stamps, hair rollers, cookie cutters, and pine needles. We made spin art with an old record player.

We tied some of our spin art circles to a tree and used them as bow and arrow targets.

And even though we weren't focused on finished products, we did manage to create a few masterpieces along the way.
