At our first ever Fairywood Foxes class we learned square lashing. We practiced on pairs of sticks and then used our knot tying skills to build a bamboo fort in the woods. Everyone worked together to collect the bamboo, plan the shelter, and build it. Last week the Foxes class went on a trail along Lake Monroe that is only accessible when the lake is low enough.
