Frog Eggs
This week we put some frog eggs we found in a puddle into an aquarium. The kids have been checking them frequently throughout class.
We played a new Animal Game in which every one gets a card with an image of an animal that lives in the area such as a snake, rabbit, owl, or bee. There are two of each animal. Everyone pretends to be their animal and looks for their match. It was a big hit!
We spent a lot of our time in the creeks with the warmer weather. We hunted for geodes, threw rocks in to make splashes, and found some mud to sink into.
Back at the adventure playground we broke open geodes with hammers, played in the tree house, and some kids started building their own "playhouse." They used the power drill, hammer, nails, wood, cardboard, and paint.
